At ito ay malinaw na natatakbuhan dahil hindi nga naman pwede makulong ang may-ari ng kumpanya sa pagkaka-utang lamang. Tunay na mga tuso at magagaling sa batas itong mga politiko natin. Masasabi ko na malamang lahat ng mga politiko ganito ang diskarte...wala pang kulong.

It is frustrating to see their faces on the tarpaulin instead of the prescribed information like name of project, date of implementation,amount of contract, source/s of fund, among other things. Pacific Planholders’ egroup

FOR journalists and researchers scouring for data on the beleaguered holders of Pacific Plans’ traditional educational plans, the techno-savvy planholders maintain a lively, information-packed e-group, no2pep2010, on top of the blog "Pacific Plans– Broken Dreams."

Put up last April 17, the same day the blog came into being, the egroup now counts 320 members. Uploaded to the egroup’s Files section are research, legal and position papers, among others, that explain why planholders vehemently oppose the proposed rehabilitation of Pacific Plans.

The egroup also posts the planholders’ plans, such as the prayer rally scheduled on May 25, starting with an 8:30 a.m. mass at the St. Andrew Parish Church in Bel-Air Village, Makati and then a short program outside the Makati court, with which Pacific Plans has filed its petition for rehabilitation and suspension of payments.

To access no2pep2010, one must sign up to be a member. For non-members, we’re posting in this blog three documents of interest: (1) the position paper of the PEP (Parents Enabling Parents) Coalition Inc., (2) the research findings of one planholder on the Yuchengcos’ corporate maneuverings, and (3) the motion filed last Friday by a group of planholders opposing Pacific Plans’ petition.

We expect planholders will soon be uploading to both the egroup and the blog the open letter to President Arroyo they issued over the weekend, the opposition the PEP Coalition Inc. filed before the court also last Friday, and the Securities and Exchange Commission’s comment on Pacific Plans’ petition.

[...] I thought it would be a while before another e-libel case comes along. Then I heard the President of Parents Enabling Parents Coalition (see the links at PCIJ) being interviewed by Compacheros Baja and Taberna. Multiple libel cases - which stemmed from the allegedly libelous comments on PEP’s blog - were already filed in court. We cannot, of course, comment on the merits because of the pendency of the case. Nevertheless, I would presume that among the potential issues is whether or not the blog author is deemed as the “publisher” in case libelous comments are posted on the blog.
