AS a matter of public interest, we are posting the transcripts of the supposed "original" and "spliced " versions of the series of phone conversations between Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo, and a certain "Gary" discussing the 2004 election results in Mindanao. Malacañang gave copies of both tapes to the press yesterday, alleging that the opposition is behind the release of the "doctored" tape to discredit the president.

Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye belied claims which he attributed to the opposition that the "Gary" with whom the president was talking to allegedly concerning election cheating in the tape is Comelec Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano, an Arroyo appointee. (The identity of "Gary", Bunye said, will be revealed in due time.) Rep. Francis Escudero, House minority leader, has denied Bunye’s allegations.

If this be true, it is considered to be the first most incriminating evidence against a sitting president of this republic which can be grounds for impeachment. Taking the cue from the transcripts provided by PCIJ, it is natural to say that PGMA (again, if the tapes are authentic) is guilty of electoral crimes which will result into her being ostracized by the mainstream Philippine society. This country is filled with unethical officials save the presidency of this republic, unless proven otherwise by this damaging tapes.

i dont think the president should be impeach nor the tape will implicate the president because the tape was illegally acquired. Wiretapping is serious crime bec its undermine the right to privacy. On Nixon’s Watergate it was the president’s henchmen who ordered the wiretapping while in the case of GMA, she was the one who was wiretap.

Anong pinagdadasal? na di sana sila mabuko sa panloloko sa taong bayan? na sana di matigil ang jueteng? na sana di magaya ang pirma ni Jose Pidal baka mafake at lumabas na si Mike? na sana huwag bumangon si FPJ baka pumayag ang Supreme Court na buksan ang balota? na sana mamatay na yong nagnakaw ng original na tape sa pandaraya ng eleksiyon? na sana huwag kumanta si Gen. Garcia? na sana madapa si lacson at pimentel? na sana huwag maacquit si ERAP baka bumalik sa Malacanang? na sana manatiling bulag ang mamamayang Pilipino para maligaya ang mga kakampi at pamilya? at marami pang iba!… kayo na ang magsabi pa ng iba!

Gma stil silent regarding dis matter. Bkit po madame? Totoo ba na manipulated ang elections. D knb nkutento sa pangaaagaw mo ng kapangyarihan noong 2001. I love GMA no matter what anyone says. In fact, I am thinking of comping up with a google or yahoo fan club. I love GMA unconditionally. I do. I really do. I was so sick of those days when we had this President who reeked of alcohol with horrific grammar to match the smell. I love GMA. She is so sexy even when she’s on her trips to Boracay. Thus, I love GMA. She’s my kinda woman - I am a lesbian. Besides, we can’t have Noli de Castro— the thought itself is soooo disgusting. I lov e GMA. Yep, I really love GMA. The only sexier and smarter person that can really make me love her less is Meriam Stantiago…. I love her too. I just love GMA. a opposition senator just turned pro administration to support his smuggling activities thru Port Irene in Sta Ana Cagayan province.
